Finally, I took Shan Leo to watch Madagascar. I tell myself that I have to do it this weekend because the coming weekend, we will be going for a short holiday. And, Shan Leo wanted to watch Bolt too. So, I better hurry...
Since Shan Leo had the McD head gear, we took it along. Here comes Alex & Melman Shan Leo! After we finished the movie, Shan Leo asked "2ma, can you tell me the story? I don't understand the story". I am kinda surprised he told me that. This is the first time Shan Leo says such a thing after a movie. Hmm...is it because Shan Leo is much wiser now, and watching a cartoon movie is not about watching the cartoon only, but also understanding the story line???
In fact, Shan Leo started to go to the movies at about 18 months (if I remember correctly). He has watched "Open Season", "Happy Feet", "Alvin & The Chipmunks", "Horton Hears a Who", "Cars", "Kung Fu Panda" and now "Madagascar - Escape 2 Africa".
It is a bliss to bring Shan Leo to the movies because he will sit throughout the entire movie without a single complaint or screaming to go home. So, the money spent is definitely worth it!

I went to buy the headgear today but cant get any.. >( Need to wait for the Hippo headgear launch and must grab it for my Yan Yan.. Too poor YanYan did not go to cinema before... I am worried she cant sit patienly for the movie... and then may disturb others...
little lamb - shan leo watched the preview of bolt in his kindie. so, he is looking forward to it!
mummy to chumsy - do bring ashley to the movies. kids pay rm6, while i paid rm11. am sure she will like it!
mummy moon - go to those mcD outlets which is not so crowded. normally, you can get it there. do bring yan yan to the movies and dun worry too much if she will move around. maybe you will be suprise on how much she enjoy going to the cinema
oh dear, my boy is alrady 3 years old n never been to any cinema! I must take him for this movie and see if he can sit still! :)
