Shan Rae @ 13 Months

Shan Rae is 13 months now! Don't you think he looks more matured now? As of 13 months, we realised that he knows quite a fair bit now. Shan Rae has reached the age where you CANNOT scold him! The moment you raise your voice at him, he will look down as a form of protest. And at times, he will cry. Once he cries, he will go to the other person that didn't scold him.

Sometimes, I just couldn't help but "scold" him coz I just love to see his expression. Its really cute! Shan Rae can call KK, PP & kor kor, but not mummy, daddy or me! *sob*

He still can't walk unaided, but he can climb up & down the bed with ease. When he is hungry, he will ask for "Milk" which he pronounces quite well. Shan Rae als loves to eat "our" food. He doesn't likes his bland porridge. So, when we eat, we will have to feed him a little as well. Shan Rae just knows how to ask for "more". Each time he wants more, he will say 'more".

I really do enjoy watching Shan Rae picking up his food with his tiny fingers and stuffing it inside his mouth. Its really cute! If you ask him to feed you, he will feed you. But when its his turn, he will always make sure he take a BIGGGGG bite!

Happy Birthday BIL!

Another backdated post here. We have a simple birthday dinner for the boys daddy on his actual birthday at Fridays. There isn't anything special planned, or any surprises, but just a birthday dinner. Since daddy had already cut the cake the day before, we didn't buy any birthday cake for him. We only had the complimentary cake from Fridays. Happily, Shan Leo loudly sang Happy Birthday for his daddy!

Happy Mothers Day + Happy Birthday!

Just like every other year, we will have double celebration on Mothers Day. This year, we celebrated Mothers Day together with the boys daddy (my BIL's) birthday, which is just a day apart. We didn't planned anything special except for a simple lunch at Umaiya, Damansara Perdana. Our lunch was great. We had plates & plates of salmon sashimi and endamame, besides the rest of the yummy maki rolls, tempuras, etc

After our lunch, we head back home coz the weather was too hot to go anywhere. We stayed at home till dinner time before my dad suggested we go for dinner at a restaurant nearby. Hence, more food again! I didn't take any pictures of the food this time as all of us are tired after a long wait in the restaurant.

I only took some photos of Shan Rae happily munching his biscuits while we waited for our food to arrive. Can you see the 3 of us in the Sesame Street t-shirts? Nice hor?

Once we reached home, we sing the Birthday song & immediately cut the cake. Everyone was tired. So, this was our simple Mothers Day & Birthday celebration on 10th May, 2009!

Marathon Shopping @ HK

In case you were wondering why I have been so quiet lately, its because I was at HK shopping! *yeah! marathon shopping* during the Labour Day weekend. My aunt, who is residing in HK was all excited about my visit, and was all ready to join me for the marathon shopping. So, all we did during the 5 days was shop, shop, and shop only... Hence, I didn't take much photos during this trip.

Since its still spring in HK now, the weather is considered quite hot. It was actually windy & cooling a few days before I reached *sigh* Thus, I didn't managed to enjoy the cool weather. Anyway, back to my shopping, sad to say that there isn't any sales around, but some Mother's Day/Labour Day offers only. Even so, I am really happy & contented with all that I bought. This time, I bought myself a limited edition LongChamp bag, a LeSportsac bag, an Esprit shopping bag, more Thomas Sabo charms & bracelet, clothes, and some other small stuffs. If possible, I wanted to buy more bags and also more Thomas Sabo charms! (maybe I should blog about my craze over Thomas Sabo later). As compared to Malaysia, the prices I paid for in HK is definitely much cheaper *hurray*

Having visited HK half a dozen times, each time, I will make it a point to visit Hui Lau Shan for their mango desserts! Its really delicious & refreshing! Another food I love is their wantan noodle & curry fish ball. HK style steamboat is really good as well. The available ingredients for the steamboat is really different from our typical local steamboat - which consists mainly of seafood and the different type of fish/meat balls. All I can say, I enjoy eating in HK. It need not be expensive, but it is already yummy enough for me to crave for more *wide grin*

p/s: This post is published due to request from friends. I actually didn't want to write about it coz I thought, "Its just a shopping hols. What is there to share??" Anyway, I hope you are not bored by this post *smile*
