Looking Back... 1st to 4th, and soon 5th

1st BIRTHDAY @ Kota Permai Golf Club. It was a joint birthday celebration with his cousin.

2nd BIRTHDAY @ a Restaurant (that I can't remember the name). Shan Leo knows how to blow his birthday candles. On his actual birthday, we took him to Aquaria.

3rd BIRTHDAY @ Home (in JB). I drove all the way to JB to celebrate my darling Shan Leo's birthday. It was just the 4 of us, but we made it really special and party feel.

4th BIRTHDAY @ Shan Leo's favourite PP house. It was a simple celebration at home because he on his actual day, Shan Leo celebrated his birthday with all his classmates in his kindie.

5th BIRTHDAY... stay tuned for it *hehe* (P/S: It's a tradition for me to take a day off to celebrate Shan Leo's birthday)

Vroom, Vroom...

Shan Rae loves to 'vroom, vroom". He loves it when you put him on the driver's seat! Shan Rae will hold the steering and press the horn. And finally 2 days ago, Shan Rae experienced his very first driving experience. Can you see his naughty face??? He is so brave, and without anyone teaching him, he knows how to maneuver the car all by himself *clap, clap*

P/S: If you noticed there is a lil' twinkle logo on the gift tags - It is actually a form of publicity for lil' twinkle!!! Good idea leh!!!

On a Lazy Sunday Morning

Mummy fetched Shan Leo to his Sunday class early morning, while myself & Shan Rae stayed in bed. Soon after mummy left, Shan Rae woke up. I saw him sitting up, but I pretend to be sleeping. I want to know what will he do, waking up and mummy is not around. Well, I peep and saw Shan Rae was busy looking high & low for mummy. He almost cried, and then, he laid down again. He toss & turn a couple of times. Then, I decided its time for me to "wake up".

The moment I "woke up", I smiled at him. Tickle him a little... and soon, we were playing in the bed. Since, he didn't cried looking for mummy, I took out my camera and took some photos.

Here are some photos I took using the "Fish Eye" setting. This cheeky boy tried to grab my camera. And after a while, he got tired, and started to look for mummy. Luckily, mummy came back just in time *phew*

Grand Bloom of Fulfillment

We saw this beautiful gigantic bowls right in front of The Pavilion mall.

It's called Grand Bloom of Fulfillment. Inside the mall, there is a video showing how they set this up.

As usual, I won't miss a chance to take a photos of the boys here. But, it is so difficult to get both the boys to look at the camera. When I managed to get one's attention, the other would be looking elsewhere (and vice versa). And, after a few shots under the hot sun, I gave up!!! This is "the" best shot I got.

We left the mall in the evening hours, and that's when we saw that the bowls actually have lighting on it.

It changes colour every few seconds - from orange, red, pink, blue to green.

Nice hor? Do check it out if you are in town. I am not sure how long this thing gonna be there. But, I am sure it is worth checking it out!

More Movies

Shan Leo had waited for almost 2 weeks to watch Ice Age 3. Finally, we went to watch Ice Age 3 last Sunday. We watched the 1.00pm show, and it was quite rush for us. Shan Leo had to attend sunday class, and he finished his class at 12.00pm. While, I spent the morning at The Mines to buy the Croc shoes for the boys. By the time we reached the cinema, it was almost 12.45pm. Hence, no time to take any photos. Besides, there isn't any nice posters around.

I quickly bought a burger and a cup of sweet corn for Shan Leo. He was having sore throat, and hence, mummy reminded me "No popcorn for Shan Leo". Anyway, what matters more is the movie. Shan Leo enjoyed the movie very much. When the movie finishes, Shan Leo asked me "2ma, what is our next movie?"

Me: Huh? So fast, thinking of next movie?
Shan Leo: *again* 2ma, what is our next movie?
Me: Hmm.. we have to wait and see what cartoon is showing next.

As we were walking out...
Shan Leo: 2ma, can I watch Night in the Museum?
Me: That movie is not showing anymore.
Shan Leo: Harry Potter??
Me: I don't think Harry Potter is suitable for you.
Shan Leo: How about UP? *pointing to the movie poster*
Me: Errmm... ok! But you have to promise me that you will be a good boy! And I will think about it.

So, Shan Leo already have his next targeted movie, UP!

My Thomas Sabo Collection

This is a backdated post I promised. Its about my craze over Thomas Sabo. I was so happy to know that in Hong Kong, Thomas Sabo is 10% cheaper than in Malaysia!!! *yahoo* It is mainly because of the HKD exchange rate, and the best part is, Thomas Sabo HK have sales. Well, not much actually, just 10%. But that is enough to make me excited *haha* So, who or what is Thomas Sabo? Well, Thomas Sabo is a leading brand name for fashionable sterling silver jewellery & charms club in Germany & Europe. Thomas Sabo tagline is "Charm Up Your Life"

So, what do I have? I have a black obsidian beads bracelet. On the bracelet, there is a connector that allows you to hang your favourite charms. You can hang up to 3 charms at any 1 time.

To match it, I bought a diamond J alphabet - which represents me, Jasmine and a cherry charm. I choose the cherry charm becoz its bright red, and matching it with my black obsidian beads bracelet was perfect!

And this is my very first Thomas Sabo bracelet. It took me a brief while to think if I should buy it. Well, the bracelet cost RM149 (for the large size). Its the charms which cost a bomb. The charms range from RM99 to RM999 *phew* And, those nice looking charms cost at least RM149 or RM199 per piece. Hence, a bracelet with 4 charms easily cost RM800 to RM1,000, depending on your choice of charms.

For my 1st sterling silver bracelet, I started off with 1 charm - which is a handbag. And ever since then, each time when I passed by any Thomas Sabo store, I will be tempted to add more, and more charms to my plain bracelet. Slowly, I added 1 by 1... a handphone, a pair of ballet shoes and a credit card. And for now, this is my shopping theme Thomas Sabo bracelet.

Meantime, I try not to walk into a Thomas Sabo outlet when I go shopping. Coz I know myself too well. The moment I go in, I would want to buy another Thomas Sabo charm...

Crocs Outlet

I found out about the Crocs outlet from my friend. It sells all the end of life Crocs shoes. Since we needed to replace Shan Leo's Crocs, we decided to check out the Crocs outlet. There were quite a few design to choose from - especially for kids (Sponge Bob, Thomas & Friends, etc). In the end, I purchased 2 pairs of Crocs - one each for the boys. And, I am only paying RM129 for the 2 pairs - which is equivalent to 1 brand new pair if I purchase from the normal Crocs shop.

I bought the blue Spiderman for Shan Rae and a black Pirates of the Caribbean for Shan Leo. Shan Rae looks so cute in his mini Crocs. And when we asked him where is his new shoes, he will quickly lift up his leg *hehe* I don't have any photos of Shan Leo's crocs coz the size was not right. Mummy went back to change it later on.

The Crocs outlet is located at The Mines shopping mall. The Crocs seems to be selling like hot cakes coz when we went in the morning, there were quite a lot of sizes for all models. But, when mummy went to exchange Shan Leo Crocs later in the afternoon, more than half of what we saw was gone!!! So, if you wanna grab one for your kid, hurry lor!!!

Shan Rae @ 15 Months

This is actually an update of Shan Rae at 14 + 15 months. I have missed his 14 months update *lazy me* So, what is new and not so new about Shan Rae?

Well, I'd think Shan Rae has grown up a lot the last 2 months. He is very good at recognizing people, and can understand more things. Shan Rae has also gain his freedom!!! He can walk unaided, and loves to walk!!! He is so different from Shan Leo then. Shan Leo, until today still loves to sit on the stroller. While Shan Rae hates to sit on the stroller. So, it is actually good news for Shan Leo *hehe*

Shan Rae still doesn't eats much, but loves to eat what we eat!!! And each time, he sees us eating, he will turn to whoever that is eating, and open his mouth wide!!! His expression is really funny!!! Hope I can capture this on camera or video one day - then you will understand what I mean. Shan Rae is a greedy fella when it comes to eating. He loves to stuff food in his mouth, especially when he knows he has another piece waiting for him *shake head*

Shan Rae hardly naps during the day now. He will be very active during the day, and even when he is tired, he refused to sleep. Hence, most of the time, he will knocked off by 7pm. His favourite things are cars and umbrella. Yes, you heard it right - umbrella!!! Whenever he sees an umbrella, he will tell us "baa baa". He can't pronounce umbrella, but he will loudly and excitedly says "baa baa". Shan Rae also loves to "drive" the car. So, whenever he has the opportunity, he would want to seat on the driver's seat and "drives" the car.

As of always, Shan Rae loves to smile. His smiles are infectious!!! Whenever he wants our attention, he will tilt his head a little, with his infectious smile. He is really full of expression. When you asked him something, he will only respond to you if you are the one who taught him. Hence, when mummy taught him where is his tummy, he will be happily points to his tummy.

And, I am glad that he is beginning to give me kisses!!! *muacks, muacks* This is a great achievement coz in the past, when I asked him to kiss me, he will immediately push me away. But now, he will shy-ly and cool-ly kiss me *hooray* I am super dupa happy!!! But one thing which he still doesn't wants is - me carrying him!!! Many of times, he would allow everyone to carry him, except me!!! How can??? So, I will either use force or food (as carrot) *haha*

Since, I don't get to see Shan Rae everyday, whatever update you read about Shan Rae here is from my personal observations and from what mummy tells me. How I wish I get to see Shan Rae everyday??? *dreaming...*

Anyway, Happy 15 months to my dear dear Shan Rae!

The Boys First Picnic

Last Sunday, we took the boys to Lembah Kiara Recreational Park for their very first picnic. Shan Leo was very excited about the picnic. And since it was a last minute outing, we didn't really prepare much. We make it really simple.

The weather was really good. It rained the morning itself, and we are glad that it stopped in time. We reached there at about 8.15am, and we saw many people have already finished their jogging and leaving the park *hehe* Shan Leo & his KF took their bicycles along. As we enter the park, Shan Leo saw the no bicycle sign. Immediately, Shan Leo jump out from his bicycle, and leave his bicycle by the side!!! He kept saying no bicycle *shake head* Hence, we asked him to push his bicycle, while my brother decides to put back his bicycle to the car *sigh* As we walked in, we saw many other kids with their bicycle. So, Shan Leo gets to cycle his bicycle.

Since this is our 1st time visiting the park, we have no idea what to expect. Hence, we bought simple food such as nasi lemak, Krispe Kreme doughnuts, fruits and potato chips. We found a table/bench and had our nasi lemak & doughnuts there.

We brought 1 cup each for everyone, and hence, we have to write our names on the cup and use it throughout the day.

Once we were done with our food, we took a slow walk to the stream area. Along the way, we saw a large group of people doing some exercise. As it was about to end, mummy & my SIL decides to join in and pretend exercising *haha* Anyway, I can't remember how they came up with this idea of doing a "I LOVE YOU" sign??? And somehow, it turns out to be "U LOVE I"!!!

I just love this photo!!! Can you see there is a hand holding Shan Rae's leg? Well, that is KF's hand? Shan Rae wanted to go elsewhere, while I wanted to take a decent photo of all our shoes. No choice, KF hold his leg while I quickly took a snap shot! *phew*

We found a nice spot by the stream, and quickly remove the boys shoes so that they can start playing. Shan Rae was fast to warm up and soon, he was busy putting his hand in the sand, and throwing the mini spade we gave him. Shan Leo was a little different. He refused to stand in the water, even with his shoes on *shake head* So, he stood on the big stone, and play with the water and trying to catch fish together with KM. Suddenly, he kind of slipped, and his feet got wet. And he started to scream his lungs out!!! It is as though he was bitten by something!!! Shan Leo insist that we cleaned his feet!!! *beh tahan* None of us bother to entertain him, except for KM. After much pacifying and coaxing, KM managed to convince Shan Leo that its ok, and to continue playing in the stream.

Daddy is busy catching the tiny fishes for the boys. Seems like he is having more fun than the boys *haha*

Daddy even caught a dragonfly for Shan Leo. Can you see Shan Leo holding the dragonfly?

We spent more than an hour at the stream area. By then, we felt there is a slight drizzle. We quickly packed, and took a slow walk back to our cars.

Just next to the car park, there is an exercise area. And you can see my 2 monkeys climbing!!!

Overall, we had a great time at the park! We will be going to the park again, and we will be more prepared *haha*
