Got Potential Or Not?

Check out my lil' model here! Got potential or not???

We saw this nice backdrop at Sunway Pyramid, and asked the boys to pose for me. After coaxing Shan Leo to pose for me, he gave me this pose. But the best part was, Shan Rae's reaction in this photo. Or coincidentally, Shan Rae turned his back and cover his eyes. And, this photo gives the impression that Shan Rae also "no eye see lor" *hehe*

Happy Birthday BIL!

A simple birthday dinner treat for my dearest BIL. We had dinner at Sushi Zanmai, Sunway Pyramid. And before dinner begins, we took some photos.

This is one of the boys favourite moment - blow candles. I purposely requested for 2 candles, so that the boys don't fight.

Both the boys love to cut cake too!

Just before we leave the restaurant, I forced the boys to take a photo with me. After a few tries, I settled for this not so perfect photo.

Anyway, I just want to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIL"

Simple Mother's Day Lunch

We didn't have any fancy party or special arrangement for this year's Mother's Day celebration. We just went for a simple lunch at Oriental Pavilion, Jaya 33. After lunch, the ladies went shopping. Well, we don't even have a group family photo. But, I make the effort of taking a few photos of all of us separately.

Mum & dad

Brother & SIL

Sis & BIL with the boys

Me & Shan Leo

Come to think of it, I am also qualified to celebrate Mother's Day coz I am 2ma, and also "kai ma" *wide grin*

Makan Makan Outing @ Sekinchan & Kuala Selangor

We have been hearing much about people going to Sekinchan. And, we have been talking about going there one of these days. Finally, we went on Labor Day.

We started the journey with breakfast at Kepong. My brother highly recommended this place for its curry chee cheong fun. But, I didn't eat curry chee cheong fun coz my cousin cannot take spicy food. Thus, this is what we ate (from my table only).

After breakfast, we drove to Sekinchan guided by our trusted Garmin. Since we are still early, we went to Kuala Selangor to do some shopping first.

The star buy will be the keropok. Can you see all the keropok above? They sell keropok of all types - prawn, fish, potato & sweet potato *thumbs up*

Shan Leo brought his camera along cause daddy asked him to take some photos. Daddy couldn't join us as he was travelling. We left Kuala Selangor after spending approximately 45 minutes there.

We reached Sekinchan in time for lunch. And we went straight to Jian Chyi, which was featured by Axian. But we were disappointed because the restaurant said they are not accepting walk-in for the day :( Thus, we walk to Guan Huat which is just next door. We ate lots and lots of shark meat. Somehow, most of us don't really like it.

After lunch, we went to check out the padi fields. It was really hot. We took a few shots and quickly jump in to our car.

As we leave Sekinchan, we stopped by the road side to buy some fruits.

We decided to head back to Kuala Selangor for more shopping and makan. We waited for almost 20 minutes for our seats even though it was way past lunch hour.

Mummy and the boys have nice tattoos on their hand.

We waited for almost an hour for our food to arrive. Everyone loves the food here more than Sekinchan. But, when compared with our favourite restaurant, Pantai Seafood - we still love Pantai Seafood more!

After food, we went shopping. We bought fresh fishes, prawns, fish balls and yong tau foo! I guess we will go back to Kuala Selangor again for more shopping!

Starbucks lil' Fan

My cheeky one "sun tanning" on the table while waiting for our drink.

Shan Rae just love any cold drinks!!! He grabbed our Starbucks Espresso & Cream Frappuccino and hog our drink *shake head*

He keeps drinking, and drinking...

Shan Rae just refused to let go our drink, and it became his drink. Luckily kor kor is not there, or else, both the boys will surely fight over it.

I Find It Cute!

Shan Rae grabbed the baby doll and start hugging it like his best friend. He look so cute!!! If possible, he wants to bring the baby doll home. Luckily he didn't cry when we asked him to put it back *phew*

While we are busy shopping, Shan Rae is busy too. He is busy taking out the socks and hanging it back.

It took him a long time to put back the socks cause the small hanger was missing. So, he went from seated to standing.

And, squatting to hang back the socks. Finally, the sales assistance decided to give him a helping hand *hehe*

Nothing special actually, but I think he was really cute! Well, these are the little moments which are priceless (to me, at least). There are no repeats or re-takes. And, probably it will only happened once.

Have a great day everyone!

Presents, Presents & Presents

- Backdated Post -

Shan Rae received a lot of presents for his birthday. And we realised that he is not so interested in his presents at all *think, think, think*

Look at his expression here. Expression-LESS! We have to force him to sit down and open the presents. When force don't work, we bribe him *haha*

Shan Rae's tidak apa style when opening the presents. It was like a chore for him!

Love this pic! Can't remember what we did to make him smile :D

After opening up all the presents, he sat down to read a book. Dunno why he make a "piggy" expression???

Next, he decides to lie down.

And probably admiring his presents!

Thank you to all uncles & aunties for the presents!
- Love, Shan Rae -

Shan Rae's 2nd Birthday "Day"

- Backdated Post -

9th April 2010 - Shan Rae officially turned 2 on this day. Happy 2 years old Shan Rae! 2ma is looking forward to a "Terrific" 2 years old journey with you.

So, what did we do on that day?

We went to McDonald's for breakfast.

After breakfast, we head for Shan Rae's weekly music movement class. Everyone wishes Shan Rae Happy Birthday after noticing his Birthday boy badge. And before the class begins, Shan Rae distributed some party favors for all his classmates.

Most of the kids in his class are bigger size than him. Well, except for this girl :D

Next, we went to Smart Kids Expo at PWTC. We have been going to the expo for the last 3 years. It is getting kinda boring somehow. Anyway, back to birthday boy Shan Rae.

Shan Rae did enjoy himself a little at the expo.

Took a "reluctant" photo of the boys. Both the boys were running around. Hence, we have to bribe the boys with sweets before they sit still for me.

A photo of me & the boys. We left the expo at about 5.30pm and rush to Mid Valley for dinner. As usual, traffic was horrible. It took us almost 2 hours to reach Mid Valley from PWTC. It was madness!!!

We had dinner at Amarin Heavenly Thai. Sang birthday song and cut cake there. Mummy made Sesame Street themed birthday cup cakes for Shan Rae.

Shan Rae & 2ma.

The cheeky bunch!

Shan Rae's favourite moment - blow the candles!

A sweet family photo!

So, this is how we celebrated Shan Rae's birthday "day". It was filled with activities, and we went from 1 place to another place. It was all worth it. Happy 2nd Birthday Shan Rae!
