Miu Miu will be 1 month old tomorrow. Wow, time flies!!! We will have a simple dinner gathering tomorrow. And on Sunday, Miu Miu's daddy & mummy has planned for a fullmoon luncheon for relatives and friends. Since she will be the attention for the day, I hope she will be at her best, and enjoy herself :D
Shan Rae is the lil' big brother here. Well, Shan Leo has come to a stage where he ignores our calls & requests when we tell him something. So, Shan Rae comes into action here. He will be the one making sure kor kor respond to us *hehe*
Let's say I want to take a photo of the boys. Shan Leo will ignore me. But when Shan Rae heard me, he will quickly pull kor kor over, and make sure he looks at the camera. Shan Rae will call "Kor kor, look at the camera".
Or, "Kor kor, smile!". And, Shan Leo will start to respond in an overly manner. At times, annoying poor Shan Rae.
Anyhow, I am really proud of my lil' big brother here :D
These are the paper crafts Shan Leo did yesterday. I asked him if anyone teaches him, he said "No". And, he did all that by himself. Shan Leo drew and cut out his drawings one by one.
When I told him I want to take a photo of it. He drew me a tree, and put the dinosaur next to the tree. Nice right?
So, I asked him to hold his master piece for me to record this down.
Shan Leo participated in a piano contest organized by his piano school, Anne Musikschule Performing Arts Centre (AMPAC). We arrived quite late, and was surprised to see so many students waiting for their performance. There were some group and solo performances. Shan Leo's performance is scheduled in the second last group.
Shan Leo played the famous Abba song, Mamma Mia. We are really proud of him cause he was really steady, despite facing the huge crowd. I sneaked to the front to give him support and record his performance.
He was competing with 6 other kids for the Beginner level. And, we saw some little trophies at the side table. So, we were thinking that Shan Leo won't win since all the kids were doing well too. We really thought of leaving the place early. Anyhow, we didn't leave, and stayed on till the results announcement.
Both the boys were lying in front of the stage.
Then, they were announcing the winners for Shan Leo's category. The girl you see here won the 2nd runner up. And, surprise...surprise, Shan Leo was the 1st runner up!!!
Boy, oh boy, we are so proud of you!
Shan Leo is the only boy in his category. Well done Shan Leo! And, as a reward, mummy bought him a lollipop :D
Another movie outing for the boys. It is Toy Story 3 this time.
Shan Rae watched the whole movie quietly, except during some scenes, he was quite scared. We even put on a Woody t-shirt for him. Too bad, we can't find the same for Shan Leo's size :(
Overall, both the boys enjoy Toy Story 3 a lot. Shan Leo says this is better than Shrek: The Final Chapter. And after the movie, Shan Leo is busy exploring the official Toy Story 3 movie site for games, and to read about all the movie characters. Shan Leo loves Slinky Dog and Bullseye, while Shan Rae loves Buzz Lightyear. So, I will conclude that it was a great movie outing!
The next upcoming movie will be Despicable Me. I am still contemplating if I should bring the boys for this. Honestly, I have never watched a single cartoon movie before Shan Leo was born. And now, I am watching almost every single movie cartoon showing in the cinema :D The best part is, I am doing it with the boys!
