I realised that the best way to make the boys smile when taking photos is to bring them to see animals... Just like today, we went to the zoo.

Do You Love Me?

Whenever Shan Rae didn't see his daddy & mummy for a short while, he will tell them "I love you" the moment he sees them. He is such a sweet talker!

After hearing so much about Shan Rae saying "I love you" to his daddy & mummy, I also want to hear the same from him. But, he refused to say it to me EXCEPT in the following circumstances:-

• I have sweets with me.
• He wants to view his favourite clown photos on my notebook.
• He wants me to carry him coz he is lazy to walk.
• Many more...

Whenever I have the opportunity, I will ask Shan Rae "Do you love me?". He will reply, "I love you, Kai Ma" in the above circumstances. But, the moment he has achieved what he wants, he will refused to say "I love you". He will cheekily tell me, "I love daddy, mummy & kor kor only!!!"

2 days ago, he surprised me. Just before he left for home, when I waved goodbye to him, he tells me this "I don't love you!!!" Aiyah, kek sei ngo!!! He really knows how to tease me... coz he knows very well, I am dying for him to say "I love you, Kai Ma".

Shan Rae bully me!!! (P/S: This is one of his favourite sentence. Whenever someone scold him or don't give him something, he will run to his mummy or daddy and says "He bully me")

I recorded this at almost 12am in the morning about 2 weeks back. This naughty boy refused to sleep, and he was in a singing mood.

Precious Moments (20)

Miu Miu @ 2 mths, 1 wk, 1 day old. A smiley photo of Miu Miu here! Love this photo a lot because Miu Miu is "Ms Cool". It's not easy to see her smiling :D

I am glad that I got her smiley photo yesterday!

Miu Miu @ 2 Months Plus

Time flies... Miu Miu is already 2 months plus old! She is really adorable at times. And her nanny commented that she is really matured. Miu Miu will be busy looking everywhere whenever she is in any new environment. She is a light sleeper, and she hardly sleeps for long hours.


At times, Miu Miu is very "fierce"! She will give us some warning signs by wriggling around and her face will starts to turn red, just like this photo.


If we don't attend to her, she will begin to "sing" *hehe*

Shan Rae adores Miu Miu!!! He will stare at Miu Miu just like how a guy would stare on a girl... And, the first thing he does when he comes over to my house is to ask for Miu Miu :D

Toothless Shan Leo

I was informed by mummy yesterday that Shan Leo has dropped another tooth. That means, the next round you see Shan Leo, you will see 2 missing front teeth *hehe* Besides that, he has another shaky tooth on his lower jaw. Hence, he refused to brush his teeth *sigh* That also explains why he hardly smile when I asked him to take photos :(

Sweets Loving Addict

This is my sweets loving addict! Probably 6 months later, you will see some missing teeth here & there :(

Mummy told me a few incidents about Shan Rae and his addiction to sweets.

Incident 1
Shan Rae hides at a corner quietly without anyone noticing. When they found him, he was eating a pack of sweets happily.

Incident 2
He grabbed a pack of sweets on the table, and starts to run away. His aunty saw it and start calling for him. Shan Rae kept running... When mummy asked if he took the sweets, he says "No".

Incident 3
Shan Rae eats a sweet, and when you ask him to open his mouth, he will hide the sweet under his tongue!!!

Incident 4
If he finds any sweet in the house, he will go around asking everyone to help him open it :(

Shan Rae is terribly addicted to sweets *sigh* He will even eat Hacks *shake head* Can you share with me how to rehabilitate his sweets addiction??? Even if we don't give him sweets, there will be some nice & wonderful uncles & aunties who will offer him sweets!!! Well, they always say "Just 1 piece only". But, if Shan Rae has 10 uncles & aunties, all also give him 1 piece... he will have 10 pieces already!!! *sigh* Share with me, what would you do?

As the boys grow up, they will find this "yucky"! So, I have to tag this photo as one of my Precious Moments :D

Play Time @ Starship Galatica

Shan Leo has always wanted to play at Starship Galatica (One Utama). Hence, on his birthday, I suggested to him play time with his good friends at Starship Galatica. Shan Leo was very excited, and began inviting his friends.

Well, it is so difficult to get the kids to take photos. This explains the few miserable photos I have that day.


I bought some donut sushi for the kids. In fact, we walked back & forth One Utama to look for a small & nice cake for Shan Leo to cut. But, we just couldn't find one which is good enough. Thus, we end up with donut sushi.


The kids are more interested in playing than eating. They didn't really touch the food we ordered for them.

Anyway, am glad that Shan Leo enjoyed himself a lot. And, this is my present for him :D Happy 6th Birthday Shan Leo!

Dinosaurs Themed Birthday Party

Birthday boy, Shan Leo requested for a dinosaur themed birthday party. So, to fulfill his wish, we did this...

Dinosaur jelly cake for the kids. The kids love it!

Another dinosaur jelly cake for ourselves.

Customized "ROARRRR...." birthday invitation.

Customized dinosaur themed top packs. The contents of the party packs include 2 dinosaurs, 1 dinosaur egg, 1 dinosaur sticker and some snacks.

This is the dinosaur egg that everyone loves!

Put some water in the container, and you will see a baby dinosaur hatched in the next 24 hours.

We are glad that all the kids love the dinosaur themed party packs. And, we are surprised that even the girls like it too! When I showed the party packs to my family and friends, they asked me "Where did you get these from?". I replied, "We bought the stuffs & packed it ourselves". Their response was, "I want you to do for my kids party too!" *wide grin*

Birthday Cake No.4

This is Shan Leo's 4th birthday cake this year. It was really a last minute "party" organized by daddy. Thus, this jelly cake was bought off the shelves. Once again, the boys were fighting to cut the cake. And, you can tell who was the winner from this pic... My poor Shan Rae was crying so loud cause kor kor gets to cut the cake first *shake head*

Books & Lots of Books

Before Shan Leo's birthday, I asked him "Do you prefer to receive/open lots of presents, or you prefer to choose your own presents?" Well, the boy prefers to choose his own presents. Good choice I would say!


So, we asked him what he wanted? He wanted books. Great! We love to hear that *smile* On his birthday, we took him to MPH. His eyes were on all the dinosaurs books. The moment he saw a book he likes, he will flip through it, and quickly tell us if he wants it or not.

He selected 7 books, and this is a gift from KK, PP, KF & KM. Shan Leo is so happy with his selection!


The moment we walked out from the bookstore, he already asked us for the books. He can't wait to check out all his new books.


While waiting for mummy, I took out his books and asked the reluctant birthday boy to pose for me.


These are the books selected by Shan Leo. We actually stopped him from buying all dinosaurs books.


Besides dinosaurs, Shan Leo loves dragons too. So, this is another present that he choose. And, its a present from daddy & mummy. Well, where is 2ma's present for Shan Leo???

Happy 6th Birthday Shan Leo! (as per Chinese Calendar)

Since the boys love to cut cake & blow candles, I decided to buy a small cake for Shan Leo on his Chinese birthday, which was a few days before his actual birthday.


The boys enjoy blowing the candles & cutting (destroying) the cake much more than eating the cake! Anyway, this is for the boys! And, Shan Leo especially *muacks*

The Birthday Song

I just love to watch the boys singing "Happy Birthday". Especially the last part when the singing is done, Shan Rae quickly help to remove the candles :D

Happy 6th Birthday Shan Leo!

Shan Leo officially turned 6 on 4th August 2010. This year will be the last time Shan Leo celebrates his birthday in his kindie. Next year, he will be attending Standard 1.

Shan Rae is equally excited about kor kor's birthday too. When it was time to sing birthday song, blow the candles, and cut the cake, Shan Rae was there waiting! He wants to blow the candles.

And, cut the cake too! So, Shan Leo cuts the cake together with Shan Rae.

As we cut and distribute the cakes, Shan Leo distribute the party packs to the kids. By the time he is done, almost everyone has finished eating their cakes. Well, I made him take photo with each & every classmates of his *hehe*

After everyone finishes their cake, we took a group photo. Shan Rae also join in.

In the evening, we went for a simple birthday dinner. Shan Leo received cash angpow from KF & KM, besides some books (which I will blog separately later).
